WANT TO BE an EXHIBITOR?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As many of you have been asking about how to participate in the Mosaic Festival here in Ravenna, we arranged this page to give you information on how to do that.<\/p>\n

For this year applications are closed. These are the steps required, in case you are interested in the next edition:<\/p>\n

– The AIMC (Associazione Internazionale di Mosaici Contemporanei) always organizes an international exhibition. To participate in this exhibition you need to be a member of AIMC.<\/p>\n

To become a member of AIMC you need to be presented by another two members who could be Luciana Notturni, Rosetta Berardi or someone you know.<\/p>\n

To participate in the the exhibition there is a call for participation by AIMC (once you are a member they send you an email). They will send specifications on how to participate. The commission then makes a selection based on a number of different criteria. The commission is different for every edition of the Festival. There is no guarantee that if you send in your works you will be selected. It’s a competition.<\/p>\n

– During the festival the municipality organizes other events and exhibitions but those are decided for each festival by a specific commission, thus we cannot tell you how to participate in those because they change each time. To give you an example: the commission chooses a curator, who then selects a series of artists to exhibit in a show on a theme or topic (e.g. sculpture, young artists, Dante…).<\/p>\n

– It is also possible to take the time to find a space in Ravenna for a personal exhibit that can be inserted into the festival program, on leaflets etc. In this case you don’t need to be a member of AIMC but you do need to find yourself the space and personally contact the the festival organizers to get information on getting into the festival program.<\/p>\n
